Postby cruet on Sat Jan 24, 2009 3:24 pm

Am off to view a local syndicate water tomorrow that have said if i like can do a pro rata ticket till june 1st then rejoin.
Its a bout 3 1/2 - 4 acres gravel pit with carp upto low 30's. and a good number of commons in the 20's (remember thats 1 of my goals this year to catch a 20 common)
I know someone who is a member down there and have seen many pics of the lake and fish so im pretty sure im gna like it, And once i get the allclear ill be doing a short 24hr sess on it next saturday!
Will finally then get my order in for some cm-16's or n.a.b

yeah good luck mate ,its never easy fishing a new water especialy if you dont know any of the anglers that fish it,they dont tend to give to much away until they know you have fun thats the key to it and patients pays off in the end.

I started my new water last April (When the club session starts) gettin to know people down there was hard work because guys wouldn't giv you the time of day, but then i started to do well down there and have made some friends for life, like Martin Garraway!! ;)
If the anglers on your new lake are the same, don't let it put you off and just keep gettin stuck in and catch some carp!!

Good luck m8 and can't wait to see a pic of a beautiful 20lb common ;)
